Differentiated Instruction and Assessment
Larson Learning® offers individualized scaffolding that differentiates instruction to meet diverse student needs including the needs of English language learners, Special Education students, struggling learners, and on-level to advanced learners. Student progress is tracked at every level through diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments and student reports ensuring that any learning gaps are identified and addressed.
Each lesson incorporates sound, motion, rewards, interactivity and diagnosis to help each student achieve his or her assigned goals. Audio support, now available in English and Spanish, combined with on-screen text and directions, helps to overcome learning gaps, and raise the standards of achievement for all. Writing assignments build vocabulary and English language skills. And, best of all, students receive feedback in the form of reinforcement and scorecards to stay on task and promote success.
